Juneau Tree Services Ltd is rooted in the community of Pembroke, Ontario. We believe in sharing our knowledge with our community because when we collectively know better, we can do better.
Our Compost Partnership
Juneau Tree Services Ltd has partnered with local farm, Lost Sheep Ranch, to donate all compostable waste such as logs, brush, and trimmings. They can be used on the farm for bedding, weed control, and compost, giving these items another life and reducing waste!
ATMOSTREE© Alliance
Juneau Tree Services Ltd has partnered with ATMOSTREE©, a tree planting alliance formed with other arborists from around the globe! As Tree Care Professionals, our hearts have a special connection with trees and we understand the importance they have on our environment.
Although we avoid unnecessary tree removals, it’s an inevitable part of our profession. With the help of a small “enviro fee” combined with the buying power of the alliance, we are able plant more trees than we remove.
Trees are planted in a diversity of locations around the world (including Canada) and are ultimately tracked toward the UN’s Decade on Ecosystem Restoration. Climate change has no borders so it makes sense to plant in areas where trees prove to have the greatest impact on our climate and beyond.
